DESCRIPTION

This vintage Persian Delfan wool kilim features a striped tribal composition woven through warm earthy tonal layering and visible abrash movement across the surface.
The palette combines madder red, burnt orange, burgundy, dusty plum touches, and soft beige stripe accents arranged through rhythmic directional organization.
The overall atmosphere feels warm, muted, and desert-like while preserving the tactile energy associated with Lak nomadic flatweaving traditions.
Across the surface, the striped composition creates continuous visual movement through alternating tonal bands and softened geometric transitions.
The interaction between burnt orange and burgundy tonalities gives the kilim strong earthy warmth, while the dusty plum areas introduce atmospheric depth within the palette.
Soft beige stripe accents lighten sections of the composition and create balanced contrast against the darker surrounding colors.
Visible abrash variation creates layered tonal shifts throughout the field and reinforces the handmade dyeing structure of the kilim.
Because the piece is fully flatwoven and reversible, both sides can be used while preserving the clarity of the striped tribal organization.
The composition remains visually restrained and calm despite the richness of the palette because of the softened saturation and disciplined directional structure.
The interaction between the earthy red tonalities, burnt-orange warmth, beige highlights, and abrash transitions creates balanced nomadic atmosphere with strong rustic tribal identity.
This piece stands out for its desert-toned palette, rhythmic striped structure, and richly abrash Lak tribal flatweave character.
