DESCRIPTION

This vintage Persian Kermanshah kilim features a geometric medallion composition built through the expansion and repetition of pixel-like square motifs across the flatwoven surface.

The palette combines brick red, warm ivory, muted indigo tonalities, and dusty peach accents layered throughout the composition.

The overall atmosphere feels warm, softened, and tribal while preserving the balanced handmade geometry characteristic of Persian flatwoven weaving traditions.

The geometric structure emerges from a single repeated square-based element that gradually expands into larger medallion forms across the composition.

This pixel-like construction creates rhythmic visual movement while preserving the restrained symmetry associated with Kermanshah tribal textiles.

Subtle tonal interaction between the terracotta-red areas and faded ivory sections softens the stronger geometric structure and creates calm decorative depth throughout the kilim.

Muted indigo tonalities introduce cooler contrast within the warmer field palette and reinforce the layered tribal rhythm of the composition.

All motifs and structural elements remain geometric and direct, reflecting the visual language associated with Persian nomadic flatwoven textiles.

Because the kilim is fully flatwoven and reversible, both sides can be used while preserving the clarity of the geometric tribal motifs.

The interaction between the terracotta-red palette, faded ivory tonalities, muted indigo structure, dusty peach accents, and square-based medallion geometry creates refined nomadic decorative atmosphere with clear Kermanshah textile identity.

This piece stands out for its softened terracotta palette, pixel-like geometric structure, and balanced handmade tribal character.
